To give you an idea of what my night was like yesterday I present the following poetic evidence:
I am bored
Bored am I
Will you put
a stick in my eye?
Biology is not fun
Fun Biology is not
In Biology class
My body starts to rot
I do not want to memorize
the cells of which comprise my thighs
more concerned with, however, am I
their shape, appearance, and physical size
I am not too keen on the subject of biology, too many cells.
Love,
Kxoxo

Kesley! Thank you for your sweet comment, it made my day :)
I think the best way to get started with your yoga practice is to just jump right in and start going to classes! There is an AMAZING yoga community in Bountiful and Salt Lake (is that where you are living right now?) On facebook there is a group called "Yoga Tribe" for all the local yogis in bountiful/salt lake/utah valley. instructors post tons of events where you can go to free yoga, and they are so much fun! In the summer they have Yoga on the roof, yoga in the park, tons of stuff! I think it definitely makes a difference too if you are able to practice at least 4-5 times a week. It really becomes a very personal and healing part of your life.
If you want to learn more about the mental/internal aspects of yoga, you could read the book "The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali" it is one of the most ancient books of 'yoga scripture'. I felt like it brought so much depth to my practice. Let me know if you have any questions! and of course, if you are ever down in the provo area, you should totally come to a class with me sometime :)
Thanks so much Kels! I'm definitely going to be looking into it :) I'm very excited now!
