Reflections

 Ok do I usually do these questionnaires? Yes... But are they usually this insightful? No! I'm thinking about making this a yearly thing I like it so much. Its time for some good reflections on my past year. It makes me feel more accomplished, grateful, and optimistic about the present and future :D <--- big ole smiles right here

What did you do in 2011 that you’d never done before?
I got my tattoo :D

Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't think I really made any... probably to eat healthier and do better in school (if I had to guess at what they were if I even made any at all). I did pretty good with both of them except this last semester I kind of slacked off which is why I am going to take off summer semester this year (I think I've earned it after 5 straight semesters)

Did anyone close to you give birth?
Nope

What countries did you visit?
The U.S. of A. I reeeeally want to go to Europe though (Ireland, Italy, or Greece the most).

What would you like to have in 2012 that you didn’t have in 2011?
An apartment of my own (and Ammon's own)

What dates from 2011 will be etched upon your memory, and why?
First New Years with Ammon :) Our trip up to Bear Creek Lodge. Jackson babbling in my backseat about how he wants to be tall and have black hair like Ammon. When my mama washed AND dried her phone lol. Getting my car. Getting my tattoo. First Christmas with Ammon's family. Me and Athena being attacked by a CaRazy Mastiff. Being with Mariah. My 21st birthday. The freezing down to the bone REAL game with Ammon. Mariah's first REAL game with us.

What was your biggest achievement of this year?
Probably getting a better paying job with benefits in this economy.

What was your biggest failure?
Failing my math class AHHHRGGGH!

Did you suffer illness or injury?
I didn't get sick very much thank goodness. Just my daily headaches. Oh and then I had hives for a couple days lol THAT was a journey.

What was the best thing you bought?
My bed frame and my VS face primer.

Where did most of your money go?
Probably eating out sadly BUT I love going out to eat with Ammon or cooking- we enjoy food

Did you meet anyone new this year who had an impact on your life?
Ammon Christopher has most certainly changed my life (although we met December 2010 I still count it). Jessica at work :) she's awesome!

What did you get really excited about?
Moving in with Mariah; it never happened but I was sure excited about it lol and Mariah and Mike getting their new dog Smokey. My tattoo. REAL games.

What song will always remind you of 2011?

b) Fatter? Maybe just less toned

What do you wish you’d done more of? 
Exercised. Danced. Played with the babies. Walked Athena. Played. Read.

What do you wish you’d done less of?
Eat out unhealthily.

How did you spend Christmas?
With my and Ammon's families.

Did you fall in love in 2011?
Madly :)

What was your favorite TV program?
The Mentalist

What was the best book you read?
Hmmm my Humanities book was amazing.

What was your greatest musical discovery?
Ammon's Irish music. How much I love Beyonce.

What did you want and get?
Love. A better job. A continuing education. A new (for me) car.

What did you want and not get?
My own place. A six pack haha

What was your favorite film of 2011?
Bridesmaids.

What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
21st birthday. I had an amazing dinner celebration at Chili's with my closest friends, went to the pub for the first time, and had a short but fun fun night at Marta's!

What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Exercising regularly. Budgeting my money better.

How would you describe your personal fashion concept of 2011?
Comfy jeans and t-shirts the first half. Feminine comfy with leggings and boots the second half.

What kept you sane?
Ammon and Athena

Who did you miss?
Mariah and Mike (they live far away; ok only like 30 minutes), my mama ammon athena a grandma when I'm very busy or don't see them for a few days. I don't like spending the night away from Athena lol I sleep with her every night.

Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2011.
Being who you truly want to be and standing up for what you believe in is immeasurably important and brings peace and happiness. You are who you are for YOU and no one else. Those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind. Love yourself. Be grateful for everything you have. Be optimistic always. Family and friends are more important than anything else.
