#4: A habit that you wish you didn't have

Hmmmm, taking naps when I'm bored. I am not one of those people who clock their 8 hours and can't sleep a minute more. I could literally sleep ALL DAY. I can sleep and sleep and sleep. And I like it A LOT. It's not always a good thing.

So my birthday party was a little hectic. We had a bunch of dogs over and friends and family. Well, we were all trying to keep things in order, when I go to find Jackson. He's sitting at the table by himself just helping himself to my huge chocolate birthday cake. He's freaking adorable, I love him.

30 Days of December!

Ok, so yes i blog stalk lol its whatev, and its people i love dearly! So i was checkin out Miss Ashley's blog and she got this idea from her friend, and i got the idea from her! 30 days of different posts (which is good cuz i've been googling post ideas er...) so here it is: actually you know what?! NO! i'm not gonna give you the list, you'll just have to be surprised everyday. And somehow I'll catch up on these last 10 days. Maybe two posts for the first ten days? IDK we'll see.

Day #1: A recent photo of you and 15 interesting facts about yourself.

1: I am 1/4 Mexican

2: I have never broken a bone

3: I am freakishly double jointed in my arms/elbows

4: I love listening to my iPod and singing loud while I get ready (just ask my family)

5: I am sincerely trying to stop swearing like a sailor

7: I also am sometimes swayed away from my Psych major by a Political Science desire

8: I love Marilyn Monroe. Not because she was a sex icon or had all the fellas drooling over her. But because almost everyone she came in contact with had wonderful things to say about her (she was a genuine, sweet person), she came from a horrible childhood and rose so high, she loved and adored children, and she was insecure and broken just like everyone else. She was real.

9: I brush my teeth in the shower

12: When I was in early elementary I thought Kesley was a boy name and that I had a boy voice. I was very distraught lol

13: I love my hair. Some girls cry when they cut their hair, I would cry if I had to dye my hair a different color

14: I am really sensitive to caffeine. Ex: I can get hyper from some Mt. Dew, really hyper from Excedrin, people know that you do NOT give me caffeine or anything like unto it cuz i go nuts, one time a took one of those 5 HR energy shots and it gave me the shakes- not good!

15: Although I have been in active in the past and what have you, the church is becoming an ever present and central part of my life. And it makes me truly happy :)

Day #2: A really good memory

Awh. I miss Tyler Jeremy Jensen so so so so very much. My good memory is just all of the hilariously fun times we (me and E, yes we are a we) had with them (Ty, Cade, Andy, Mike, Jeff). Me driving Ty's new clutch horribly, Jr. Prom with Ty, Christmas Dance with Andy, Fourth of July at Sugarhouse, Motorcycle trio (E/Ty, Me/Jeff, Aud/Cade), Woodstock motorcycle duo and sidewalk chalk watching (E/Ty, Me/Cade), Third of July Dees run/car accident (not a good memory), E's family reunion up in PC, Hot Springs. Ohhhh I just love them all so much. We had an awesome senior year, and continue since Cade and Jeff and Mike are home now! We're waiting on ya Ty!

10 things i think are weird/don't understand

1: Mustaches. I'm sorry but, I just think they're gross (except for my uncle dave, he's really the only one I've known that can pull it off). I don't understand the purpose of having one. I absolutely hate when guys have their mustache march or may or whatever (cuz most guys just end up with gross prickly mexi-staches), just ugh! I don't like them, I don't appreciate them, I don't want them, I don't want a guy with one. And I'm talking about mustaches not goatees or other facial hair. I actually like a man with a bit of scruff- thats hot.

2: Mean people. Those people who intentionally do things to hurt another, or do things with complete disregard to how their actions will eventually effect everyone around them. Now, I admit I have done both out of anger or ignorance, most people have, but most people try to correct or apologize. Then there are the people who don't, and I just literally cannot express how I completely and utterly DO NOT UNDERSTAND them. It makes me sad, thinking about someone who truly does not care for anyone but themselves- it must be a lonely, sad, world :(

3: The whole Pepsi or Coke thing. Personally, they're like the same to me. Maybe it's because I don't really prefer either, I rather have water lol but sheesh people just take what you can get. They're both carbonated and loaded with sugar and calories and can get rid of the acid build up that accumulates on your car battery.

4: Gross PDA. Okay people. I don't give a $%!&#$%@#!$ if you're "in love" aka can't keep your gross hands off of each other, but save it for somewhere where I am NOT. I mean hold hands, a quick peck, sit on the lap for a bit (appropriately), arm around each other- thats cool, "awh what a cute happy couple". But like kissing your girlfriends neck grossly and obsessively while we wait in line at Costa Vida (yeah that really happened) is disgusting and makes you look like white trash that can't keep your hormones in check, resulting in a knocked up lady for a girlfriend.

5: Lindsay Lohan. Like, seriously WTF?! Why do people care so much? She's just a normal person, who happened to grow up wealthy with a few movie deals, got into trouble and now she's on the cover/web page of every freaking thing! The judges always seem to be giving her extra chances and she keeps getting into trouble all over again. For goodness sake let the poor girl have some privacy and figure out her troubles! Her problems are what make her successful and that is just moronic and stupid and freaking annoying.

6: Jersey Shore. I know I'm gonna get a lot of crap for this, but, seriously! I just don't get it. I've watched a few episodes and all it seemed like was a bunch of tanning and hairspray obessed young adults getting into trouble. Who knows, maybe if I watched it more I'd like it. Maybe Elise, Same, Nate, Kenne, or Guts could show me the way. But eh, I'm not too worried about this one.
7: Tanning. While I'm on the subject of tan people. Lol, I don't mean people who go every once in a while in the winter to keep up a healthy glow, or whatever. I'm talking about the people who are obsessed with looking like an orange (and yes it can happen without ever getting a spray tan). Maybe, its because I have fair skin and can't tan for the life of me. And yes if I could I would like 'healthy glow'. But its now proven to cause skin cancer people, and almost every girl I bring that point up to, doesn't care. I promise you'll care when you're 40 or 50 and facing Melanoma. It'll be then that you realize that tanning wasn't worth dying. Yeah, I know I'm being super serious, but as a redhead I CAN'T tan. I burn. My redhead family counterparts have all gotten skin cancer. From not putting sunscreen on to drive! You're dark skin is a protectant against skin cancer, value that, don't push its limits!

8: People who don't get mad at other drivers. Lol! Oh man, all my friends tease me about my road rage, and yeah I know its bad. So all I can say is that I don't understand how you guys stay so calm at all of those other drivers haha

9: Zac Efron. Once again, I will be getting A LOT of crap for this one too haha. Yes, he is attractive. Yes, he sings pretty good. So what? Seriously, So Freaking What? I find a lot of other celebrities much more attractive, whom I don't have to remember dancing around in basketball shorts. Such as Christian Bale, Ryan Reynolds, Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, Heath Ledger. So much more sophisticated if you ask me lol.

10: Black shoes with white socks. Haha! Kels taught me this one a long time ago: if you wear black shoes, you wear black socks. Now, of course I don't always follow this rule. But nothing cracks me up like seeing a grown man in a nice suit and shoes, then BAM!, white socks. It just ruins the whole outfit, cuz all I can look at are your freaking socks. So maybe its more of a white socks with nice dressy shoes and suit?

Well thats about it lol hope I didn't offend anyone too terribly and I apologize if I did :)

Christmas Time Devotional (Fa La La La La)

Friday, Kenne, M Dub, and I went to see Harry Potter and OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS BODACIOUS it was so good. Now, I'm no E Kofford ;) but this seriously rocked my socks off, I can't wait for the next one! Then we went to play with Guts (who has an awesome blog by the way, www.girlwhowearsredglasses.blogspot.com check it out!) and I fell asleep on the couch of course lol

Saturday I was awoken by the cutest freaking yellow lab puppy named Raja (pronounced like Ray-uh) and Kels and Madi SONE. Kels made the most delectible french toast ever and I just had such a fun time with them (I act like a total dork, and Kels just thinks I'm hilarious which just makes us both have a grand old time and Madi thinks we're nuts lol) Then I got to vist Holly Dave Jack Bay and Marley and I just LOVE spending my time with them, they are the cutest sweetest kids (and family) ever, I love them to pieces.

And then my very good friend Cadence (you may know him as Cade) took me to the Christmas Devotional at the conference center last night (thank you Cade!). It was awesome and just what I needed. We waited on standby in temple square for about an hour, then these nice friendly people gave us their extra tickets (we kept commenting on just how nice everyone was there- we had like 50 people come to us and ask if we needed help finding our seats). The devotional was really good, good persepectives, but the music was my favorite (the choir and the orchestra together was so beautiful!), then we looked at the lights, and checked out the North visitors center and watch the Joseph Smith movie (which I'd never seen).

So all in all I'd say it was a good weekend :)

Things that makes me Happy!

Harry Potter.

Yeah maybe it sounds kinda dorky but oh well. And I'm talking about the movies AND the books. They really are just like my go to comfort movie, or nothing new to read book. Almost like comfort food :) Nice and familiar. Thanks from this girl Ms. Rowling.

School

Ok, I know this may be a little weird, but I although school can be hard and time consuming, the satisfaction and motivation I get from learning and working toward a goal makes me happy, and I achieve that through going to school!

Dance.

Of course. I've missed it so much! And dancing to my own choreography in the living room is not cutting it lol so I'm super excited for spring semester to get here cuz I'm taking a jazz class yay!

Oh how I love LOVE and how I love my little sister even more! So put the two together and its awesome xoxo And Mike is such an amazing man, I could not have asked for a more wonderful husband for Mariah. Just seeing them together and their absolute love, commitment, respect, and adoration to each other is beautiful. They are a huge example to me, and who I go to for everything and anything.

No matter what kind of a mood I'm in she always makes me smile and laugh, and if it really does seem like the end of the world she'll cuddle up with me and lick away my tears until I feel better :)

Oh boy these kids are my little love bugs. I LOVE playing with, reading to, watching movies with, listening to!, watching, bathing, chasing, laughing with, teaching, feeding, tickling these kids! Bay has The Most adorable laugh, she is independent but cuddling; such a little diva lol and she loves her big brother :) Jackson is such a ham haha he is always saying "Kesley watch this!" and he absolutely loves puppies and whenever Athena gives him a kiss he laughs and says, "Athena don't eat me!" They can be little stinkers but they light up my day when I get to spend any amount of time with them!

And of course this isn't EVERYTHING that makes me happy, my family does, funny jokes do, awesome socks or underwear does, hugs do as well lol

End of Semester!

Isn't it just a lovely feeling? Knowing that semester is almost over, and you'll have a nice month long break from school? I certainly will appreciate and bask in the free (ish) time, NO homework! yaya! I finished my final paper for Sociology yesterday, now I only have a one page reflection, a test, and a final. I have a final paper due and a final in Film on Monday. And then I have my Debate and paper due in Gov tomorrow, then a final (i think?) and an Op-Ed. Then I'm all done! Ok, actually writing all that down makes it seem like a lot, but it'll all be done in about 2 weeks, so it's all good! I'm looking forward to taking a dance class next semester and an actual Psychology class :) Annnnnd since it'll be winter break this means Kenne, Guts, Morgan, and I get to go SLEDDING woo woo! We've been planning this For Ev Er. Annnnd I'll get more time with Jack, Bay, and Mar :) I do love them (my nephew and two nieces- ish). So December is shaping up to be a pretty good month I'd say, as is Spring Semester. And although life is hard, and stressful, etc "to get to forever, you have to take it one day at a time" I love this quote right now. Take things one day at a time, do your personal best one day at a time, and eventually you'll get there :)
